The Rully terroir benefits from a semi-arid climate. continental with oceanic influences. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone and limestone soils, which give the wines their mineral character and finesse.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For white wines:<\/strong> Chardonnay is the dominant grape variety, producing fresh, aromatic white wines with aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus and sometimes floral notes.<br \/>\n<strong>For red wines:<\/strong> Pinot Noir is mainly used, giving elegant, fruity red wines with red fruit aromas and spicy notes.<\/p>\n<p>The Rully appellation includes wines produced in several villages in the region, notably Rully, Chagny and a few other surrounding villages.<\/p>\n<p>Some of <a href=\"https:\/\/domaine-mia.com\/en\/abecedaire-vins-de-bourgogne\/climats\/\">climats<\/a> (specific named-places) within the appellation may be classified as premier cru, indicating the superior quality of the grapes produced in these specific parcels.<\/p>\n<p>At Domaine Mia, our <a href=\"https:\/\/domaine-mia.com\/en\/product\/les-plantenays\/\">Rully Les Plantenays<\/a> is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes harvested by hand and matured in oak barrels for 12 months.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rully is an AOC in Burgundy, in the C\u00f4te Chalonnaise wine-growing region.
