Burgundy's vineyards cover more than 28 thousand hectares and account for 3% of the world's vineyards of France. The different wine-growing regions, from north to south, are :

• Châtillonnais
• Côte de Nuits and Hautes Côtes de Nuits
• Côte de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Beaune
• Côte Chalonnaise and Couchois
• Mâconnais
